7 Tunes

Praising is the work of the Heavenlies, and the Church is Heaven on Earth. Seven Tunes is a mobile application that includes some of the services that are used in the Coptic Church. It includes the Annual Psalmody, Kiahk Psalmody and the Raising of Incense. This application has those prayers laid out in a beautiful and simple scroll view that is wrapped in carousel like view. The user scrolls through the content of each hymn and swipes left or right to navigate to the next hymn in the service. The most important feature of Seven Tunes is the ability to display the Coptic parts of the hymn in either Arabic or English. This allows for the people who are not strong in the Coptic language to participate and to chant with the congregation. The application’s default languages are Arabic, Coptic and English, but the user has the option in the settings to change the languages and the number of languages to be viewed. We pray that God may bless this work to grow thirty, sixty and hundred-fold and that we add more services that are prayed throughout the year in the near future.
