With our latest update to Call Screen on Pixel devices in the US, the Google Assistant now helps you automatically screen unknown callers and filter out detected robocalls before your phone ever rings. And when it’s not a robocall, your phone rings a few moments later with helpful context about who is calling and why.
This is the latest APK we verified and uploaded. Older versions are still available.

Basic voice calling works without internet, but features such as spam detection, caller ID, visual voicemail, Hold for Me, and call screening rely on network access to retrieve data.
Phone is compatible with Android 9.0 (API level 28) and higher and is also available for Wear OS devices. It supports devices with the standard telephony hardware; no special gamepad or TV features are required.
The app needs access to contacts, call logs, phone state, microphone, camera, location, SMS, and storage to manage calls, display caller information, record calls, provide visual voicemail, enable emergency location sharing, and support features like Hold for Me and Call Screen.
When you start a recording, the app plays an audible disclosure so the other party knows the call is being recorded. Recordings are stored locally on the device and are not automatically shared.
